The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. We can comfortably fit 5 adult passengers. We may accommodate 6, but only if your party has 3 young kids to be belted in the third row.
While I don't drive directly to the Mendenhall Glacier or the Visitors' Center, I offer a unique alternative. I take guests to a beautiful, less-crowded photo spot just 5 miles away at the Brotherhood Bridge Lookout. It provides a stunning view of the glacier and is perfect for those seeking to get away from the crowds.
Yes, we prioritize making our tours accessible. Our SUV has space for walkers or other mobility aids, and we can tailor the itinerary to ensure comfort for those with limited mobility.
After you book, I'll call you a day before your scheduled date to ensure I have everything you need.
Absolutely! While we have a general itinerary, we’re happy to adjust the tour to fit your interests, schedule, and needs.
Juneau weather can be unpredictable, but don’t worry! We’ll adjust the stops and activities to ensure you still have a fantastic experience, no matter the weather. But please bring a rain jacket, because we will still walk outside.
We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance.
Yes, children are welcome! Please note that if we have 6 passengers, the third row may feel cozy with 3 seats occupied.
We’ve got you covered with water, snacks and binoculars. Just bring a camera, comfortable clothing and a light rain jacket, and any personal items you might need.
Yes! We can arrange pick-ups and drop-offs at your cruise ship or hotel. Just let us know when booking.
We recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your preferred date and time, as tours fill up quickly, especially during peak season.
You are certainly entitled to a full refund. Yet if, after you arrive, there is time to do part of the tour, I may be able to give you a discounted ride. Just call 907-209-6675 after you disembark, and we can discuss.
It is great to finally meet you, Allan! I have heard nothing but good things about you. I stopped and listened to you with the veteran by the SS Juneau Memorial (on the docks). You are a great listener and ambassador of our great city of Juneau.
